Enterprise Cloud Migration
AWS cloud migration: lift-and-shift to EC2, re-platform to RDS, Aurora, and ECS, or re-architect with Lambda and Fargate. Zero data loss.
Move to the cloud with confidence. We plan, execute, and validate every migration.
Cloud migration isn’t a one-size-fits-all project. Whether you’re doing a straightforward lift-and-shift, re-platforming for cloud-native benefits, or rebuilding critical applications from scratch, our migration team has the experience to get you there without disruption.
Migration Strategies
- Lift & Shift (Rehost) — Move workloads to EC2 with minimal changes, using Direct Connect or VPN for secure data transfer
- Re-Platform — Optimize for managed services like RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, and ECS/Fargate during migration
- Re-Architect — Rebuild as cloud-native using Lambda, Fargate, Step Functions, and event-driven patterns
- Hybrid — Maintain on-premise presence with Transit Gateway and VPC connectivity while migrating appropriate workloads to AWS
Our Process
- Discovery & Assessment — Inventory all workloads, dependencies, and requirements
- Migration Planning — Sequencing, risk mitigation, rollback strategies, and timeline
- Proof of Concept — Validate approach with a representative workload
- Execution — Phased migration with testing and validation at each stage, including Route 53 DNS cutover
- Optimization — Post-migration right-sizing, cost optimization, and performance tuning
Migration Stats
- 100+ migrations completed
- Zero data loss incidents
- <4hr avg cutover window

Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the complexity and number of workloads. A single-application lift-and-shift can be completed in 2-4 weeks. A multi-application migration with re-platforming typically takes 2-4 months. Enterprise-wide migrations with architectural modernization run 6-12 months. We phase every migration to deliver incremental value — your first workload moves to production within the first sprint.
We design for zero-downtime or near-zero-downtime migrations. Techniques include DNS cutover with low TTL, database replication with AWS DMS, blue-green deployment patterns, and parallel-run validation periods. For workloads that require a maintenance window, we plan cutover windows under 4 hours (our average is under 2 hours) and schedule them during lowest-traffic periods.
We use all six AWS migration strategies depending on the workload: Rehost (lift-and-shift to EC2), Replatform (move to RDS, ECS, or managed services), Refactor (re-architect for cloud-native), Repurchase (move to SaaS), Retire (decommission), and Retain (keep on-premises). Each workload gets the strategy that balances speed, cost, and long-term value for your business.
Yes. As an AWS Advanced Tier Partner, we help customers qualify for and access MAP credits that offset migration costs. MAP provides funding for assessments, migration tooling, and professional services. We handle the business case documentation and AWS engagement required to secure funding. Many of our migration engagements are partially or fully funded through MAP.
